About the Event
This powerful, family-centered conference is designed to empower parents, inspire youth, and strengthen our village through faith, healing, and community connection. Our mission is to support families in raising Kingdom-minded children who are confident in their identity and purpose in Christ.
Whether you are a parent, guardian, educator, mentor, or youth leader, this event offers something meaningful for everyone.

Vision for Healing the Hurt Ministries
At Healing the Hurt Ministries, our vision is to provide transformative healing to those in need, bringing hope, love, and restoration to individuals affected by trauma, abuse, and emotional pain. Through our annual conference, we aim to raise awareness and foster an environment of healing and connection for participants, offering them the tools and support they need to begin their journey toward recovery.
Our goal is to provide life-changing resources, such as workbooks and healing materials, to individuals who need them the most. We are committed to taking our mission into nursing homes, prisons, and communities where people are in desperate need of emotional and spiritual healing. By offering these resources and spreading the message of hope, we will reach those who may feel forgotten or unheard, offering them the opportunity to experience God’s love and find peace.

Business & Services
Educational Workshops & Seminars
We offer workshops and seminars for schools, community groups, and organizations to educate on the prevention of childhood sexual abuse, recognizing signs of abuse, and creating safe environments for children. Topics also include trauma-informed care, supporting survivors, and teaching children personal boundaries.
Counseling & Support Services
Our network of licensed counselors and therapists specializes in trauma recovery for children and adults affected by sexual abuse. Services include one-on-one counseling, group therapy, and family support to help survivors heal emotionally and regain control of their lives.
Prevention Programs for Children & Teens
We provide age-appropriate programs that teach children how to identify unsafe situations, set personal boundaries, and understand the importance of saying "no" to inappropriate behavior. Our teen programs also address issues related to online safety, consent, and navigating relationships.

Community Outreach & Advocacy
We partner with local schools, churches, and civic organizations to spread awareness, advocate for stronger child protection policies, and offer resources to those in need. Our goal is to engage communities in open dialogue and action around childhood sexual abuse prevention.
Conferences & Events
Our annual "Healing the Hurt" conference brings together experts, advocates, survivors, and community leaders to discuss strategies for prevention, healing, and raising awareness. The event includes keynote speakers, panel discussions, and interactive workshops. We also host dedicated sessions for children, using storytelling, art, and role-playing activities to teach personal empowerment and safety.
Children’s Books & Educational Media
We create and distribute children's books and educational media designed to empower and educate young readers about body autonomy, safe spaces, and the importance of saying "no." Our books aim to make difficult topics accessible, helping children understand their rights and encouraging open communication with trusted adults. These resources are available for schools, libraries, and families, providing a powerful tool in abuse prevention.
